Canadian Mining Certification
The Canadian Mining Certification Program is the first (and only) national mining worker certification program of its kind in Canada.

CTEM partners with the Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR) to meet the National Occupational Standards when designing training programs for BC’s mining industry.

The Canadian Mining Certification Program (CMCP) is the first – and only – national mining worker certification program of its kind in Canada. It is the industry-standard for validating the skills, knowledge, and experience of workers in the mining industry.
Workers who chose a career in mining are recognized for successfully completing the CMCP and enhancing their skills gained from the hands-on experience gained at an exploration site or operating mine. Through the CMCP Skills Registry, individual mine workers are assessed and recognized as they progress in their mining careers.
